Upon finishing his education in French Literature and Commerce at University College Dublin, Cathal Kerins began as an associate at KPMG where he qualified in the financial services taxation department as a Chartered Accountant.
However, after qualifying as a CA, he returned to cultural pursuits and became the editor of the Arts and Culture section of Europa United. Subsequently, he began a Masters at the internationale filmschule köln in Digital Narratives, where he explores the interplay of sound in space. He is especially keen to produce new narratives and art in the digital and transmedial space.
This mix of technical acumen, cultural education, and fluency in German, English, and French, uniquely situates him to produce new art and cultural projects in an international context.
